Chapter 15

Jasmine

After Travis left the office, she called him as promised so that he’d have her cell phone number. He didn’t call her back until after 8 p.m., but by that time she was at a concert with her sister, Lauren, enjoying herself. She told Travis to give her a call the next day and they’d talk then.

Late Sunday afternoon, Jasmine was lounging around her house wearing black silk pajama shorts and a matching camisole. She’d rented a movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and looked forward to seeing what all of the hype was about. She removed a slice of sinfully delicious chocolate cake she’d picked up from a nearby bakery from the cake plate on her kitchen table. She walked into her family room, placed the disc in the player, grabbed her favorite throw and then started the movie. An hour later, Jasmine was completely engrossed in the film and didn’t want any interruptions unless someone was gravely ill. Just as the movie was reaching its climax, she heard her cell phone ringing on the nightstand in her bedroom. She was going to pause the movie to see who was calling her, but she decided to return the call later. At the conclusion of the movie, she was nearly in tears.

“That was such a great movie,” she said as she got up and took her dirty dishes into the kitchen. She glanced at the black cordless phone on the kitchen countertop and decided to give Tiffany a buzz.

“What’s going on, diva?” Tiffany asked. Jasmine could tell by the excitement in her voice that Tiffany was in a great mood.

“Just calling to see how you were doing and to find out what’s the four-one-one on everything,” Jasmine teased her.

“Girl, let me tell you what I went and did.” Tiffany started laughing.

“Oh Lord, let me sit down,” Jasmine said as she extended the phone cord over to her kitchen table.

“You’re not going to believe this crazy shit,” Tiffany said matter- of-factly.

“Lay it on me, girl. What happened?” Jasmine was dying to know.

“I had sex with two guys,” Tiffany blurted.

“Wait, you mean you’re seeing two guys at the same time?” Jasmine asked.

“No silly, I fucked two guys at the same time. I had a threesome.”

“No you didn’t!” Jasmine’s voice rose to an earsplitting level.

“Yes I did! And they were twin brothers!” Tiffany said un-ashamedly.

“Oh my God! How in the hell did you manage to pull that one off? I mean, how could you do two brothers?”

“Just like that.” Tiffany popped her fingers. “They seduced me and goddamn it, I’m glad that they did, because they found the right freak for the job.” Tiffany laughed uncontrollably, then cried out, “Woo woo woo. That shit was good to me!”

“Okay, heifer, give me the details,” Jasmine said.

“Girl, I’m not even sure how the shit happened, it just sort of did,” Tiffany explained.

“Were they students at the university?”

“Yes, music majors with a set of voices that have the power to make any woman’s panties soaking wet.
